Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Already Sent. They are written to be read, not skimmed past — if anything is unclear, email hello@alreadysent.co.uk.
The service
Already Sent sends scheduled project status updates to your clients by email on your behalf, gives each client a private page showing where their project stands, and tracks whether updates have been opened and acknowledged. You write the updates; we make sure they go out and tell you what happened.
Acceptable use
You may only send updates to clients with whom you have a genuine professional relationship. You are responsible for the content of the updates you send. You must not use the service to send marketing, bulk or unsolicited email, or anything unlawful, defamatory or misleading. We may suspend accounts that breach this section.
Subscription and cancellation
Already Sent is a monthly subscription billed in advance. There is no setup fee, no long-term contract and no minimum term. You can cancel at any time; your access continues to the end of the billing period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again. Founding-rate pricing, where offered, is locked for the period stated at sign-up.
Email delivery
We use reputable infrastructure to deliver updates, but email ultimately arrives in inboxes we do not control. We cannot guarantee that any particular message will reach a third-party inbox — spam filters, provider outages and recipient settings are outside our hands. The acknowledgement tracking in your dashboard exists precisely so you can see what has and has not landed.
Liability
Our total liability to you, however arising, is capped at the fees you have paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of business or professional standing arising from a missed or undelivered update. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
If we make a material change to these terms we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
